This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) describes the information about you that Stampede Ventures (“Stampede”, “we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, and discloses when you visit our website or any other online or offline location where this Privacy Policy is made available to you (collectively, the “Services”).

COLLECTION AND USE OF INFORMATION; NOTICE AT COLLECTION
We collect personal information from various sources, as described in the “Sources of Information” section below. The personal information that we collect, and the purposes for collection, may include:
Contact and Account Information. When you create an account with Stampede, you give us your full name, address, telephone number, and email address, and create a username and password to access your account. We use this information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services and your account, respond to your requests or questions, help us verify the identity of our users, to customize your experience with us (including the merchandise and videos you see), to better understand how you use the Services, to send you updates and alerts (including notifications about new merchandise and content you might be interested in), to allow you to participate in sweepstakes, contests, and promotions, and to administer these activities, to help us keep the Services safe, including to protect our company, our business partners, you and our other customers.
Other Information You Submit to Us. We also collect information when you submit a question or comment or apply for a job, or if you provide information when entering a contest or promotion. We use this information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, to respond to your requests or question, to customize your experience with us (including the merchandise and content you see, to better understand how you use the Services, to help you send and share content with others, to help us keep the Services safe, including to protect our company, our business partners, and our customers.
Device, Internet and Network Activity Information. When you use our Services, we gather info about the browser or device you’re using, like the type of system it runs on, device identifiers, cookie IDs, your IP address, and other advertising IDs, data about the features you use, the pages you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics, emails you view, products and services you view and purchase, and your referring and exiting pages. We use this information to provide, maintain and improve the Services, to customize your experience with us (including the merchandise and content you see), to better understand how you use the Services, to send you updates and alerts (including notifications about new features, merchandise, or content you might be interested in), for analytics purposes, to help us keep the Services safe, including to protect our company, our business partners, you and our other customers, to respond to your requests or questions
Location information. We collect information that identifies your general location, using your zip code or postcode and IP address. We use this information to provide, maintain and improve the Services, to customize your experience with us (including the merchandise and content you see), to better understand how you use the Services, to help us keep the Services safe, including to protect our company, our business partners, you and our customers.
Payment Data. We collect information that is necessary to process your payments if you make a purchase through the Services, such as your credit or debit card number, financial account information, or other payment information. We use this information to process your payments and facilitate refunds.
Inferences. We may make inferences about your interests and personal preferences (such as the content you like to consume). We use this information to provide, maintain, and improve the Services, to customize your experience with us (including the merchandise and content you see), to better understand how you use the Services, to send you updates and alerts (including notifications about new features, merchandise, or content you might be interested in)
Employment-Related Information. When you apply for a job, we collect information you submit as part of your application and resume. This might include your work experience and previous employment, your education, the URL to your personal or professional websites, your workplace skill sets and certifications, whether you need a visa or require sponsorship, and/or salary expectations. We may also conduct a credit check, background check, and employment verification to the extent permitted by applicable law. If you apply for a job, you may choose to also voluntarily provide some or all of the following information: ethnicity, gender, disability status, and/or veteran status. We use this information to process your application for a job with Stampede, to conduct a credit check, background check and employment verification to the extent permitted by applicable law (prior to confirming your employment with Stampede), for our internal research and analytics purposes (for example, demographics information for statistical tracking purposes, not for hiring decisions, in accordance with applicable law). We do not use this information to create profiles or make other inferences about you.
We also use all categories of personal information listed above to comply with our legal obligations, for security, safety, and due diligence purposes, or as otherwise required or permitted by law, or as we may notify you at the time of collection.
In accordance with applicable privacy laws, we do not sell personal information or share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
We retain the personal information we collection for as long as it is necessary or relevant for the practices described in this Privacy Policy, including, for example, for legal compliance, dispute resolution, contract enforcement, backup, archival, and other internal operations purposes. Where we have no continuing purpose to process personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because the personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store the personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
Where we need to collect personal information by law, or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you fail to provide that data when requested, we may not be able to perform the contract we have or are trying to enter into with you. In this case, we may have to cancel a service you have with us.
We do not use or disclose sensitive personal information (as that term is defined in the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”)) for purposes other than those specified in 7027(m) of the CCPA Regulations.
We may use personal information to create deidentified or aggregated data which does not identify you or any other individual, or from which your identity cannot reasonably be ascertained. When we de-identify data, we do not attempt to re-identify it and we prohibit our partners from doing so.
If you are a California resident, please note that where required by the CCPA, the disclosures in this Privacy Policy represent our practices for at least the preceding 12 months.
SOURCES OF INFORMATION
We collect personal information from the following sources:
Directly from you. We collect personal information directly from you when you visit our website, access our content, register an account, enroll in mailing lists or text message campaigns, view or purchase a product or service, apply for a job, contact customer support, or otherwise communicate or transact with though the Services.
Automatically From your Devices. We use tools like web beacons, cookies and embedded scripts to automatically collect information about you when you use the Services and open our emails. We collect information about you over time and across different devices this way. For further information about your rights and choices regarding them, see the “Your Rights and Choices” sections below.
From our vendors and service providers. We may engage with vendors and service providers to collect or provide us with information about you, such as for payment processing, data analytics, marketing and advertising, website hosting, technical support, and job recruitment.
Data Brokers. We may engage data brokers to provide us with data that supplements the data we collect.
Social Networks. We collect information from social networks with which you interact, such as when you reference Stampede or our Services, or grant Stampede permission to access your data on one or more of these services.
Publicly available sources. We collect information in the public domain and data available in open government databases.
Partners. We collect information from our partners with which we offer co-branded services or products, sell or distribute our products, or engage in joint marketing activities.
Affiliates. We collect information from our affiliates, including our joint venture companies, Happy Nest Entertainment and Hidden Pigeon.
We combine information. We sometimes combine the information we get from different places. For example, we might combine information you gave us offline with what we collect online, or combine details we get from a third party with what we already know. We also combine your data with data from other users to spot trends and preferences.
HOW WE DISCLOSE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION
We share personal information under these circumstances:
Service Providers. We share information with service providers that process information on our behalf. Service providers assist us with services such as payment processing, data analytics, marketing and advertising, website hosting, and technical support. We prohibit our service providers from retaining, using, or disclosing information about you for any purpose other than performing the services for us, although we may permit them to use information that does not identify you (including information that has been aggregated or de-identified) for any purpose except as prohibited by applicable law.
Vendors and Other Parties. We share information with vendors and other parties for analytics related purposes. These parties may act as our service providers, or in certain contexts, independently decide how to process your information. We use analytics services, such as Google Analytics, to help us understand how users access and use the Services.
Affiliates. We share information with our affiliates and related entities, including where they act as our service providers or for their own direct marketing purposes. Our affiliates include our joint venture companies, Happy Nest Entertainment and Hidden Pigeon.
Partners. We share information with our partners in connection with offering co-branded services, selling or distributing our Services, or engaging in joint marketing activities.
Promotions. We offer sweepstakes, contests, and other promotions (each, a “Promotion”) jointly sponsored or offered by separate entities that may require submitting information. If you voluntarily choose to enter a Promotion, we share information as set out in the official rules that govern the Promotion as well as for administrative purposes and as required by law (e.g., on a winners list). By entering a Promotion, you agree to the official rules that govern that Promotion, and may, except where prohibited by applicable law, allow the sponsor and/or other entities to use your name, voice and/or likeness in advertising or marketing materials.
Merger or Acquisition. We share information in connection with, or during negotiations of, any proposed or actual merger, purchase, sale or any other type of acquisition or business combination of all or any portion of our assets, or transfer of all or a portion of our business to another business.
Security and Compelled Disclosure. We share information to comply with the law or other legal process, and where required, in response to lawful requests by public authorities, including to meet national security or law enforcement requirements. We also share information to protect the rights, property, life, health, security and safety of us, the Services, or anyone else.
Facilitating Requests. We share information at your request or direction.
Consent. We share information when we have your consent.
Notwithstanding the above, we may share information that does not identify you (including information that has been aggregated or de-identified) except as prohibited by applicable law. YOUR RIGHTS AND CHOICES
Account Information. You can visit the account section of the Services to access, remove, or update certain account information we have on file about you and that you have submitted through the Services. Alternatively, you may email us at legal@stampedeventures.com to request that it be updated or removed. We may require additional information from you to allow us to confirm your identity. Please note that if you ask us to remove information, we will remove it from consumer-facing parts of the Services but may continue to store and use the information for internal analytics purposes or as otherwise permitted under applicable law. We will retain and use your information as necessary to comply with our legal obligations or data retention policies, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements.
Cookies. Most browsers accept cookies by default. You can instruct your browser, by changing its settings, to decline or delete cookies. If you use multiple browsers on your device, you will need to instruct each browser separately. Your ability to limit cookies is subject to your browser settings and limitations. Please note, if you disable or remove tracking technologies some parts of the Services may not function correctly.
Marketing Communications. You can opt-out of receiving promotional emails from us at any time by clicking on the unsubscribe link available in the email. Please note that you cannot opt-out of non-promotional emails, such as those about your account, transactions, servicing, or our ongoing business relations. Please note that your opt-out is limited to the email address used and will not affect subsequent subscriptions. For text message communications and calls to your phone number, you may opt-out at any time by (i) for text messaging, texting “STOP” to the appropriate shortcode available from our text message or contacting us as set out in the “Contact Us” section below and specifying you want to opt-out of text messages; and (ii) for calls, requesting opt-out during any call you receive from us or contacting us as set out in the “Contact Us” section below and specifying you want to opt-out of calls.
Google Analytics. Google provides tools to allow you to opt out of the use of certain information collected by Google Analytics at https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, by Google Analytics for Display Advertising or the Google Display Network at https://www.google.com/settings/ads/onweb/, or downloading the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES FOR U.S. STATE PRIVACY LAWS
You have the following rights regarding personal information, where provided under applicable U.S. state privacy laws, each of which are subject to various exceptions and limitations:
Access. You can request that we disclose to you the categories of personal information we collected about you, the categories of sources from which we collected the personal information, the categories of personal information we sold or disclosed, our business or commercial purpose for collecting, selling, or sharing the personal information, the categories of third parties with whom we shared the personal information, and the specific pieces of personal information we collected about you. You also have the right to request a portable copy of your personal information.
Correction. You have the right to request that Stampede correct inaccurate personal information about you.
Deletion. You can request that we delete your personal information that we maintain about you.
How to Submit a Request. To exercise any of these rights, please email us at legal@stampedeventures.com, with the words “U.S. State Privacy Rights Request” in the subject line.
How We Verify Your Identity. We will take reasonable steps to verify your identity prior to responding to your requests. For example, we may utilize a third party verification provider to assist with verifying your identity. The verification steps may vary depending on the sensitivity of the personal information and whether you have an account with us.
Authorized Agent. Under certain circumstances, you can designate an authorized agent to submit requests on your behalf. However, we will require written proof of the agent’s permission to do so and we will need to verify your identity directly.
Appeals. You have a right to appeal decisions concerning your ability to exercise your consumer rights. Please contact us at legal@stampedeventures.com to request an appeal concerning decisions on your consumer request.
As noted below, we do not knowingly collect information from or about children, including children under age 18. We do not sell or share information of minors under 18 years of age.
Stampede will not discriminate against you because you made any of these requests. We may deny certain requests, or fulfill a request only in part, based on our legal rights and obligations. For example, we may retain personal information as permitted by law, such as for tax or other record keeping purposes, to maintain an active account, and to process transactions and facilitate customer requests. Note that for purposes of these requests under this Privacy Policy, personal information does not include information about employees and other of our personnel; information about employees and other representatives of third-party entities we may interact with; or information we have collected as a service provider to our clients.
Shine the Light. If you reside in California, you have the right to ask us one time each year if we have shared personal information with third parties for their direct marketing purposes. ADDITIONAL DISCLOSURES FOR EUROPEAN USERS
If you reside in the UK or a country in the European Economic Area (EEA), under European data protection law, data controllers are required to have a lawful basis for each use or disclosure of personal information. We rely on the following legal bases when we process personal information:
- When necessary for our legitimate interest in providing services to our users. These legitimate interests include to respond to your inquiries and requests for information, maintain, improve, and analyze our Services, detect, prevent, or investigate security breaches or fraud, and facilitate the functionality of our websites and mobile applications. In specific situations, we require your personal information to pursue our legitimate interests in a way which might reasonably be expected as part of running our business and which does not materially impact your rights, freedom or interests. We will use legitimate interest after we have properly evaluated the data processing and conducted a necessary balancing test.
- When necessary for the performance of a contract. This includes processing personal information in order to fulfill your request or provide the services that you have requested, including for example, when you have created a Stampede account and subscribed to content available through the Stampede Services.
- When you provide your consent for us to use personal information. In some cases, we may rely on your consent. If we process any information where your consent is our lawful basis, you will have the right to withdraw your consent at any time.
- To comply with our legal obligations. This is our legal basis for certain uses and disclosures of information required by applicable UK and EEA laws. For example, we can pass on details of people involved in fraud or other criminal activity affecting us to law enforcement. Please note that as Stampede provides a tailored service to each user, it is a requirement of the service that information on your use of the service is collected. If Stampede is not able to collect such information the service will not be available and you will need to close your Stampede account.
If you are a resident of the UK or a country in the EEA, you also have the following rights (each of which are subject to various exceptions and limitations):
Access. You have the right to ask us for confirmation on whether we are processing personal information about you and ask use for copies of that personal information.
Correction. You can request that we correct personal information you think is inaccurate or incomplete. You can also edit some of personal information through your Stampede account.
Deletion. You can request that we delete personal information about you. We may deidentify or anonymize personal information in response to your request. You can also delete some of your information by deleting your Stampede account.
Restrict or Object Processing. Where we rely on legitimate interests to process personal information about you, you have the right to object, on ground relating to your particular situation, at any time to the processing of personal information about you.
Right to Restrict Processing. You may have the right to request that we restrict processing of personal information about you in certain circumstances (for example, where you believe that the personal information we hold about you is not accurate or lawfully held).
Right to Withdraw Consent. If processing of personal information is based on your consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. Your withdrawal will not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out before you withdrew your consent. You may withdraw your consent by contacting us at legal@stampedeventures.com.
Right to Data Portability. You have the right to ask that we transfer the personal information you gave us to another organization, or to you, in certain circumstances.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us as set forth in the section entitled “Contact Us” below and specify which European privacy right you intend to exercise. We will respond to your request within 30 days. We may require additional information from you to allow us to confirm your identity. Please note that we store information as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, and may continue to retain and use the information even after a data subject request for purposes of our legitimate interests, including to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, prevent fraud, and enforce our agreements.
Please know that in order for us to respond to your request we may require that you verify your identity. For security, privacy, or operational reasons, Stampede may only respond to valid requests when required by law or regulation. You can also control certain choices via our cookie privacy manager. We will retain personal information for as long as necessary to provide the services you have requested, including to administer your Stampede account, while taking into account any legal requirements and tax and accounting rules. If you have any issues with our compliance, you have the right to lodge a complaint with an EEA supervisory authority. We would, however, appreciate the opportunity to address your concerns before you approach a data protection regulator, and would welcome you directing an inquiry first to us. DATA SECURITY
We implement and maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical security safeguards to help protect information about you from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, destruction, or modification. Nevertheless, transmission via the internet is not completely secure and we cannot guarantee the security of information about you collected through the Services.
INTERNATIONAL TRANSFER
We are based in the U.S. and the information we collect is governed by U.S. law. If you are accessing the Services from outside of the U.S., please be aware that information collected through the Services may be transferred to, processed, stored, and used in the U.S. and other jurisdictions. Data protection laws in the U.S. and other jurisdictions may be different from those of your country of residence. Your use of the Services or provision of any information therefore constitutes your consent to the transfer to and from, processing, usage, sharing, and storage of information about you in the U.S. and other jurisdictions as set out in this Privacy Policy. If your data is collected in the European Union (“EU”), we will transfer your personal data subject to appropriate or suitable safeguards, such as Standard Contractual Clauses.
LINKS TO OTHER SITES
We may link to sites and services that we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to the information practices of those sites and services. You should read the privacy policy of other sites and services carefully before disclosing any information. You access such linked sites and services at your own risk. We are not responsible for such sites and services.
CHILDREN
Stampede’s Services are not intended for children under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect, sell, or share information from anyone under the age of 18. CHANGES TO THIS PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to update or change our Privacy Policy at any time and you should check this Privacy Policy periodically. Your continued use of the Services after we post any modifications to the Privacy Policy on this page will constitute your acknowledgment of the modifications and your consent to abide and be bound by the modified Privacy Policy then posted. If we make any material changes to this Privacy Policy, we will notify you either through the email address you have provided us, or by placing a prominent notice on the Services.
